The First Grand Cañao by BIBAK Arizona: A Call to Unity, Culture, and Purpose

Mark your calendars for a historic celebration—The First Grand Cañao, hosted by BIBAK Arizona, happening on November 7-8, 2026.

This milestone event will honor our rich Cordilleran traditions through culture, dance, music, and community gathering unlike any other. We invite everyone—Cordillerans and friends alike—to be part of this momentous occasion.

This is more than just an event. It is a gathering of identity, a celebration of heritage, and a powerful step toward bringing our community together in a way that has never been done before in Arizona.

A Vision of Unity

Our goal is simple yet meaningful: unity.

We aim to bring together Igorots from across Arizona and beyond to create what we hope will be the largest Igorot gathering in the state. In a time when life keeps us busy and often disconnected, this is an opportunity to reconnect—with one another, with our roots, and with our shared identity.

Awareness, Recognition, and Pride

The Grand Canao is also about visibility and recognition.

We want to proudly showcase our culture, traditions, and presence in Arizona. This event is a chance to let others see who we are, what we value, and the richness of our heritage. It is about standing together and saying: we are here, and we are proud of who we are.

An Inclusive Celebration

This event is open to everyone—families, friends, and supporters of our community.

Whether you have been part of the community for years or are newly connected, you are welcome. The Grand Canao is built on the spirit of inclusion, where everyone has a place and a role in celebrating our culture.

A Rare Opportunity

We invite you to be part of something truly special.

Opportunities like this are rare. This may be the only Grand Canao in Arizona, or the next one may not happen again for many years. Being part of this inaugural event means being part of history—something you, your family, and future generations can look back on with pride.

A Purpose Beyond Celebration

While the Grand Canao is a celebration, it is also a fundraiser with a meaningful cause.

Proceeds from this event will support our charity initiative to improve access to technology in the Philippines by building or upgrading computer centers in selected grade schools in Benguet and Ifugao.

Through this effort, we hope to provide students with better learning tools, greater opportunities, and a stronger foundation for their future.

Join Us

We encourage everyone to take part—whether by attending, volunteering, or supporting in any way you can.

Together, we can make this event not only successful, but truly impactful—for our community here in Arizona and for the communities we continue to support back home.

Let us come together in unity, celebrate our identity, and create something meaningful that will last for years to come.

We look forward to seeing you on November 7–8, 2026. CLICK HERE TO RSVP!
